advertising statistics

The statistics that would have been used in the film 2012 would bee to get out the message that the film is coming to cinemas and the date, they would have shown this by advertising it e.g. posters. All of the different advertising would be easy to find like posters, billboards, trailers, press releases, merchandising and interviews, these are all above the line marketing the film will use all of these to send out the message quicker and easier, also they might use the below the line advertising and some of them are magazines, viral marketing, pod casts, internet, websites and press release. This sends out the message but it may not be as reliable because the audience will have to look on the internet for the film advertising.

The statistics that would have been used in the film the men who stare at goats would be to get the message out, but it would have to be cheapish because the company doesn’t have as much money as a Hollywood film, this is because they are founded by the company Universal. Some of the techniques that the company would use are magazines, viral marketing, pod casts, TV, internet, websites and press release. All of these BTL advertisement techniques will send out the message but some people will not have seen any of the advertising.

The statistics that would have been used in the film Bunny and the Bull would be to get the message out, but because the film is a low budget film they will not waste any money on advertising, the only advertisement that they would have is by the reputation of all the past films that they have made, also they would be known by recommendation. This means that this film wont have any advertising.
